JSA All-Stars: Hawkman inks

For DC's "JSA All-Stars" miniseries. These covers were the brainchild of Art Director Mark Chiarello: John Cassaday would do a layout of the modern JSA characters, then I'd generate a background drawing of the golden age guys mimicking the same poses, as if it came from an old comic. Here's my drawing, with a small version of the final cover art.

It was fun trying to draw like Shelly Moldoff, doing those wings that looked like they were made out of some heavy woolen carpet-like material!
